Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Project Manager to support a variety of projects in a customer facing role. A Technical Project Manager serves as the customer‑facing single point of contact throughout the full project lifecycle, leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical initiatives—particularly data center migration and network‑focused projects. This role develops and manages detailed project plans, coordinates cross‑functional internal and external teams, and ensures successful implementation of technologies such as TDM, Ethernet, Transport, and MPLS while maintaining strict adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. The Technical Project Manager actively tracks progress using established change control processes and KPIs, facilitates meetings, prepares executive‑level status reports, manages risks and dependencies, and escalates issues to drive timely resolution. Acting as the overall project team lead, this position ensures compliance with technical requirements and organizational policies, supports customer needs end‑to‑end, and drives accountability to achieve successful outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of network technology, data center migrations, network topology, and network documentation with the proven ability to build project road maps specifically within the networking & data center space.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's Degree and 5-8+ years of technical project management experience in a Data Center / Networking environment
-Project Management experience within Data Center Migrations
-Implementation experience with multiple of the following technologies: TDM, Ethernet, Transport, MPLS, Managed Services, and/or VOIP
-Strong well-versed understanding of network technology, topology, router navigation, and connectivity types
-Excellent communication & network documentation skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification
