Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support initiatives within the financial services space through our largest Telecom customer. We are seeking a strong Infrastructure/DevOps‑focused developer to build, automate, and scale cloud‑based voice communication platforms. This role involves designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure, developing and supporting full‑stack applications (React with Python backends), implementing CI/CD pipelines, and containerizing services with Docker using infrastructure‑as‑code best practices. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with SIP/VoIP systems and voice infrastructure—such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, or similar—and understands SIP at a protocol level to effectively troubleshoot and support voice services. This is not a carrier‑grade telecom role, but rather a modern engineering position for someone who has built scalable voice or communication services in cloud environments using DevOps automation and tooling.

Required Skills & Experience
-Extensive experience building & automating AWS cloud infrastructure
-Experience developing full-stack applications using React & Python
-Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
-Strong experience supporting and integrating voice infrastructure components, including SBCs, SIP proxies, and related network topologies
-Working knowledge of SIP/VoIP protocols & hands‑on experience with voice platforms and tooling (Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, or similar)
-Ability to build or support automation and tooling around voice systems, including inventory management and carrier number data
-Experience with testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting voice traffic, including CDR analysis using tools like Splunk
-Exposure to voice platforms and integrations such as Ribbon SBC, PSX, and Neustar APIs (API key–based integrations and service workflows)
