Remote Strategic Engagement Manager (Costa Rica)

Insight Global is seeking a Strategic Engagement Manager for one of our clients. This individual will oversee client-facing resource engagements, managing stakeholder communication, project coordination, financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong project management background, excellent communication skills, and experience working with both customers and technical teams.
Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day communication with consultants and client stakeholders, providing regular status updates and setting clear expectations.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, interview processes, and resource intake activities while partnering with delivery and resource management teams.
• Track engagement financials, including utilization, burn rates, forecasting, risk identification, and variance reporting.
• Support billing and invoicing processes by validating approvals, maintaining accurate records, and managing purchase orders and change requests.
• Assist with onboarding and training project managers on standard processes, financial reporting practices, and internal tools.
• Proactively identify risks and issues, escalate when appropriate, and drive resolution while contributing to process improvements.

• 5+ years of project or program management experience.
• Strong experience managing project milestones, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Customer-facing experience in client services, delivery, account management, or a similar environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present updates to stakeholders.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including forecasting, utilization tracking, burn rate analysis, invoicing support, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience working with technical teams and the ability to discuss technical delivery concepts at a working level.
• Background creating or delivering training, onboarding materials, process documentation, or standard operating procedures.
• Experience in professional services, staffing, resource management, or consultant management environments.
5–7 years of technical project management experience.
