Job Description

We are looking to add an experienced Bim Model Manager to our clients Building Engineered Services team (BES). This business group is responsible for designing highly integrated and advanced building systems by combining all disciplines of engineering to deliver these high-performance buildings such as data centers and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical/structural 3D design and a deep understanding of digital delivery. This person will be managing the digital model environment and deliverables for anywhere between 3-6 projects at a given time. Additional responsibilities include:
Run BIM coordination meetings with internal employees, end clients and subcontractors
Work directly with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), while managing the deliverables outlined within
Direct/provide guidance to BIM coordinators assigned to their projects to ensure timely progress towards deliverables
Set up and maintain model configurations (coordinates, scales, orientations, views, sheets, boundaries).

Responsibilities split between digital design and digital delivery
Design:
BIM Authoring
Modeling geometry, data and components
Electrical: conduits, cable trays, lighting fixtures, panels, switchgears, fire alarm devices
Structural: foundations, slabs, beams, load-bearing walls, columns, steel framing
Producing drawings & model content

Delivery
Mange the BIM ecosystem
Oversee workflows and coordination
Multi-discipline oversight and collaboration
Focused on project wide delivery, model accuracy and compliance

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience in digital design (BIM) working with Revit
3 years of experience in digital delivery (model management)
Focus in either structural or electrical design

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience within mission critical facilities (data centers, healthcare facilities)
Technical design/drafting degree
Additional 3D design software experience (Tekla)
