Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an API Integration Specialist for one of our banking clients to work with transaction data and moving systems. Responsibilities include:
• 70-80% Mulesoft and documentation; other 20-30% is scripting in Python or .Net, database work, connecting to a table, creating a view, etc.
• Working on 2 main use cases for developing API's:
o 1. Migrating from legacy platform to Mulesoft. Recreate the same logic, same input, same output; Have 15-20 total that need to convert; success would be migrating/converting at least half of the API's in the first 6 months
o 2. Developing brand new API; working with different business units, working on what the inputs/outputs will be, high-level flow, and then going through QA process, peer-reviewing code. Moving to production environment. Responsible for all documentation.
• Working on some integration architecture

Required Skills & Experience
• 2 years of experience with MuleSoft (built on Java platform)
o XML, JSON, using the app that mulesoft provides
• API design and development
o REST/SOAP based API’s
• Python, Java programming experience
• Systems Engineering experience with PowerShell scripting
• ETL work experience
• Experience with databases, ideally SQL
• Data transformation
