Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Lead to oversee cybersecurity compliance, remediation, and audit readiness for laboratory systems operating in controlled environments. This individual will be responsible for validating cybersecurity compliance requirements and ensuring systems align with established security standards through compliance-focused scanning and remediation activities. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to maintain secure, audit-ready lab environment.

The Cybersecurity Compliance Lead will oversee patching, system hardening, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) tracking, ensuring vulnerabilities are documented and addressed in accordance with compliance expectations. Additional responsibilities include preparing cybersecurity compliance reports and supporting internal security audits by coordinating evidence, documentation, and remediation status. This role requires strong technical oversight, documentation skills, and experience supporting cybersecurity compliance in regulated or lab-based environments.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years in cybersecurity compliance or operations.

Direct hands-on experience with patching, hardening, and audit evidence.

Comfortable working in lab/controlled environments.

Secret clearance required.
