Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer to sit on-site 5 days a week with our defense customer in the St. Louis metro area. This position will require a active secret clearance to be considered. We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the F-15 program. This individual will be responsible for developing, managing, integrating, and validating complex aircraft system requirements throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle. The engineer will serve as a key contributor between program leadership, software engineering, avionics, hardware engineering, flight test, manufacturing, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical aircraft capabilities. The role requires strong technical depth, systems thinking, and experience working on highly regulated aerospace or defense programs
Compensation:
$64/hr to $69/hr

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, military aviation, or other highly regulated engineering environments
- Experience with requirements development, decomposition, verification, and validation
- Experience utilizing DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
- Ability to work across software, hardware, avionics, and test organizations
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle
- Active secret clearance
