Job Description
This Systems Engineer will support Boeing Phantom Works and next-generation combat aircraft development efforts. The engineer will support either the MQ-28 design documentation program or autonomy reference architecture development team based on experience and business needs.
Responsibilities include supporting system architecture development using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), decomposing requirements, developing system interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, and supporting verification and validation activities. This individual will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure program alignment and successful execution.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related technical field
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience (or 3+ years with Master's degree)
• Experience with:
o Systems design
o Requirements development and decomposition
o Functional analysis
o Verification and validation
o System integration
• 3+ years of MBSE experience
• Hands-on experience with Cameo, SysML, MagicDraw, or similar MBSE tools
• Experience supporting development efforts requiring coordination across multiple engineering disciplines
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative engineering environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace platforms using MBSE
• Prior leadership in systems engineering or system architecture roles
• Strong ability to communicate architectural decisions and tradeoffs to stakeholders
• Familiarity with aircraft or flight systems and integration across mechanical, electrical, software, and mission systems
• Exposure to specialty engineering disciplines such as safety, reliability, maintainability, survivability, system security, and certification
