Cost Account Manager (Project Manager)

Insight Global is seeking a Cost Account Manager (CAM) for one of our large DoD customers out of the St. Charles, MO area. This roles is onsite 5 days per week. The person in this role will lead and coordinate technical execution for Operational Flight Program (OFP) software teams and related integration activities, owning Cost Account Management (CAM) for assigned software work by overseeing budgets, monitoring earned value performance, and delivering objective forecasts. They will maintain and defend the performance measurement baseline, collect timely cost and schedule data, and compute key EVM indicators such as CPI, SPI, ETC, and EAC. The role requires identifying root causes for variances, driving corrective action and re-planning, and keeping leadership and stakeholders informed. This position also involves close collaboration with systems engineering, test, QA, and supply chain to ensure software is delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget, as well as mentoring and developing early-career engineers while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and technical rigor.

Compensation:
$50/hr to $58/hr

- 3+ years of experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM), such as owning a CAM and budget, maintaining the performance measurement baseline, tracking cost and schedule performance, and producing estimate to complete and estimate at completion forecasts.- Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
- Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Experience working with Military or DoD customers strongly desired
