Job Description

Develop and implement interactive digital work instructions using Tulip software across multiple manufacturing cells.
Support robotic tending projects, including programming, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation.
Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs using Studio 5000.
Configure and support automation devices including AC variable frequency drives (VFDs), DC drives, servo controllers, and related industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and operator efficiency.
Support machine vision applications utilizing Keyence VS Series camera systems.
Create and maintain CAD drawings and documentation to support manufacturing and automation projects.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements.
Assist with system integration efforts involving Ignition and other manufacturing software platforms.
Document project progress, process changes, and system configurations.

Required Skills & Experience

Associate degree (2-year) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
At least 2 years of Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 PLC programming experience with ControlLogix PLCs.
Experience with Ignition software.
CAD experience.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting industrial automation systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional manufacturing teams.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
5+ years of Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 programming experience.
Mechanical engineering experience.
Experience setting up, programming, and troubleshooting:
AC Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
DC Drives
Servo Controllers
Experience with Keyence VS Series vision systems and AI-enabled camera technology.
Tulip experience, specifically implementing digital work instructions in manufacturing environments.
AutoCAD Electrical experience.
Banner Pick-to-Light system experience.
Autodesk Inventor experience.
Prior experience supporting robotic tending or automation implementation projects.
Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process optimization experience.
