Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Scheduler/Receptionist in Hattiesburg, MS to support non-medical in-home care operations. This role is responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules, supporting client needs, and ensuring accurate timekeeping and documentation in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day caregiver scheduling
• Serve as the primary liaison between caregivers, clients, and office leadership
• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally
• Receive and process referrals accurately and efficiently
• Verify time sheets, update telephony records, and support payroll processing
• Maintain accurate caregiver records and documentation within scheduling systems
• Assist with recruiting, hiring coordination, orientations, and in-services
• Perform on-call coordinator duties as needed
• Support general office and administrative functions

Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of office or business experience preferred
• Prior medical office or healthcare scheduling experience a plus
• Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver and VA programs strongly preferred
• CNA or PCA experience is a plus
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling or payroll systems
• Ability to maintain professionalism in high-volume or high-stress situations
