The Project Execution - Vegetation Management and Software Integration Lead will serve as an owner’s representative Project Manager supporting utility Vegetation Management (VM) operations and a major software integration initiative for one of our top utility clients. This role is execution‑focused, with no direct reports, and is responsible for facilitating delivery across operations, IT, vendors, and back‑office teams to ensure schedule adherence, data accuracy, and vendor compliance. The position supports an enterprise effort to consolidate multiple vegetation management platforms into a single integrated solution, improving forecasting, cost analytics, QA/QC, and execution visibility across an end‑to‑end VM portfolio. 75/hr
Project & Execution Leadership
• Act as the Project Execution Lead / Owner’s PM for VM execution and software integration efforts
• Track milestones, delivery dates, risks, and dependencies across Operations, CCM, IT, and vendors
• Own execution accountability in a highly manual, data‑heavy portfolio transitioning to a unified platform
Vegetation Management Operations
• Provide hands‑on support for utility vegetation management clearing programs
• Facilitate field verification and validation, ensuring alignment between field work, system data, and reporting
• Support compliance tracking and operational QA/QC
Software Integration & IT Facilitation
• Support end‑to‑end integration of multiple VM systems into a consolidated platform (e.g., AI‑enabled VM dashboards)
• Serve as a liaison between business, operations, and IT teams
• Support testing, data validation, cutover planning, and go‑live readiness
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
• Help ensure vendor compliance with scope, timelines, and data/reporting requirements
• Own working relationships with software vendors and execution partners
• Drive issue resolution and delivery follow‑through
Financials, Forecasting & Analytics
• Support forecasting, cost analytics, and reporting across the VM portfolio
• Ensure accurate direct‑charge alignment and financial data integrity
• Coordinate with finance and operations on data reconciliation

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in the utility industry, with a strong focus on Vegetation Management
• Demonstrated experience supporting utility VM clearing programs
• Solid understanding of project management fundamentals (planning, execution, tracking)
• Experience working across multiple software platforms and data‑driven workflows
• Exposure to software or IT project management (1+ year preferred)
• Experience supporting QA/QC, field validation, and compliance
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
