Lead React Developer

We’re seeking a seasoned, hands-on Lead React Developer to lead a mature engineering squad supporting an internal, web-based platform used by field and service teams. The application helps monitor the health, performance, and maintenance needs of connected/IoT equipment deployed in real-world environments—enabling remote troubleshooting, proactive alerts, and ongoing feature enhancements. This is a leadership role for someone who can still code daily, understands how data flows through modern web systems, and can guide engineers through architecture decisions, code reviews, and delivery.

Lead front-end development using React, owning UI patterns, component architecture, and maintainable design systems/component libraries.
Understand and guide overall application architecture: data ingestion, processing, and end-to-end flow to help troubleshoot issues and drive solutions.
Collaborate closely with backend and cloud services (C#/.NET, Azure services, APIs) to deliver features and resolve defects.
Provide technical leadership through mentorship, pairing, code reviews, and setting engineering best practices—while remaining hands-on in development.
Drive feature enhancement, ongoing support, and monitoring for a production application with real operational impact.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate needs into scalable, reliable product improvements (internal user experience focus).

Strong, hands-on React expertise (advanced component patterns, performance, state management, and reusable UI architecture).
Proven experience as a Lead (tech lead, lead engineer, or similar) guiding devs via mentorship, code reviews, and technical direction while still coding.
Solid understanding of web application architecture and how data moves through systems (data flow, ingestion → processing → UI).
Strong experience working with APIs (design/consumption, troubleshooting, integration patterns).
Working ability to code in C#/.NET (not just read it) and collaborate effectively with backend services.
Experience leveraging Azure services in real applications (creating/executing/operationalizing services used to pull/process data).

Background supporting connected device / IoT products or platforms where software monitors equipment/devices in real environments.
Experience with Bluetooth / edge connectivity concepts in device ecosystems.
Experience building or maintaining internal portals/tools used by field/service teams (operational tooling, remote troubleshooting).
Deep experience building/maintaining React component libraries/design systems at scale.
