Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent technology workstreams in support of a large enterprise client in the manufacturing sector. This role leads project execution across IT infrastructure, Software Development, and Systems Integration scopes, ensuring each initiative is delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned to defined quality and business outcomes. The Project Manager will operate in an Agile delivery environment, partnering with engineering teams, technical leads, vendors, and client stakeholders to drive velocity, transparency, and accountability across the portfolio. This is a hands-on delivery role for a candidate who thrives in fast-paced, technically complex programs and can confidently translate business priorities into actionable sprint and release plans.
Key Responsibilites:
• Multi-Project Delivery Leadership — Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of multiple parallel technology projects spanning IT, software development, and integration scopes; own scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder management across the portfolio.
• Agile Program Execution — Run Agile/Scrum and hybrid ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives); coach teams on Agile best practices and continuously improve delivery cadence and predictability.
• Technical Scope Management — Partner with engineering managers, architects, and developers to translate technical requirements into structured work breakdowns, sprint goals, and release plans; ensure dependencies across IT, dev, and integration tracks are identified and managed proactively.
• Stakeholder & Executive Communication — Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and internal leadership; deliver clear, executive-ready status reporting on progress, risks, blockers, and key decisions.
• Risk & Issue Management — Identify, document, and actively mitigate risks and issues across all assigned projects; maintain RAID logs and drive escalations through the appropriate governance channels.
• Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination — Coordinate work across internal teams, third-party vendors, and client SMEs to ensure integration points (APIs, data flows, infrastructure handoffs) are validated, tested, and deployed on plan.
• Financial & Resource Oversight — Track project financials, burn rates, forecasts, and resource utilization; partner with Program Management and Account Management on staffing plans, change orders, and SOW alignment.
• Quality Assurance & Delivery Standards — Ensure deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria, technical standards, and client quality expectations; enforce documentation, change control, and release management discipline.
• Governance & Reporting — Maintain project artifacts (charters, schedules, status reports, dashboards) in alignment with internal delivery playbook standards and client governance requirements.
• Continuous Improvement — Identify process improvement opportunities across delivery, tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, etc.), and reporting; contribute to maturing the broader PMO practice.
