Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to support and extend the firm’s SharePoint platforms. This role will supplement the current IT SharePoint developer by taking on delegated development and automation work, ensuring continuity, coverage, and long term knowledge transfer.
The ideal candidate combines strong SharePoint development skills with an automation first mindset and the ability to operate within established enterprise governance standards.

• Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions that support large scale document and project management needs
• Develop custom applications and components using SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Create and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate workflows
• Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell and PnP
• Implement and enhance enterprise search experiences using PnP Modern Search
• Integrate SharePoint solutions with upstream and downstream systems using APIs (JSON, jQuery)
• Support data quality, validation, and reporting initiatives
• Support investigation, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of developed solutions
• Participate in documentation and structured knowledge transfer to ensure continuity if/when the consulting resource transitions out

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development
• Strong expertise with SharePoint Online
• Hands on experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Experience scripting and automating with PowerShell and PnP
• Familiarity with PnP Modern Search
• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• API and data integration experience using JSON and jQuery
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online administration

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with one or more of the following:
o C#
o .NET / ASP.NET
o JavaScript / TypeScript
o HTML / CSS
• Familiarity with:
o React (commonly used with SPFx)
o Microsoft Graph API
o Azure Functions
o Copilot Studio
o SQL for reporting and auditing
• Exposure to or interest in Copilot AI agent development
