Insight Global is seeking a Network Architect to join the team of one of our medical device clients located in Minneapolis, MN. In this newly created position reporting to the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you will be responsible for leading the network architecture function across their technology landscape, planning, designing and overseeing implementation of our Azure focused network. As a hands-on architect, you will partner with experts both inside and outside to build and govern our growing landscape. This is a full-time position able to pay between $120-140k annually, depending on experience. Additionally, there is bonus and stock equity potential.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent experience
7+ years of progressive experience working as an enterprise, network, solution, or domain architect or similar role
DevOps Experience
-Azure DevOps as tool
-Management of IaC
Infrastructure as Code scripting tools
-Management and control of IAC for Azure Networking
Knowledge of Azure networking in a multi-tenant, multi-application, cross-organizational environment
Ability to think critically and solve problems
Strong understanding of software, hardware, architecture frameworks, and corporate technology and trends Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
Advanced level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline
Hands-on experience with the development and deployment of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and modules within a cloud-based deployment model
Ability to present and communicate technical concepts
Experience leading efforts to create technological solutions and architectures impacting critical areas of the business
Experience in dealing with topics related to cyber security, data privacy, etc.
Strong consultative skills at a cross-functional level
Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
Medical device experience
