Required Skills & Experience

Junior college or science-related courses.
Good hands-on skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses accurately and expeditiously.
Flexibility within a repetitive environment with changing priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, suppliers, and customers.
Ability to problem-solve with minimal direction.
Ownership of technical service requests, including documenting work, providing status updates, and communicating with requestors.
Execution of application/laboratory test plans for material and process characterizations and root cause analysis.
Management of laboratory equipment, products, and supplies, including preventative maintenance and shipment of materials.
Support for quality and cost savings initiatives.
Practice of safe work habits and compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in a laboratory setting.
Familiarity with 5S or similar standardization processes.
