Job Description
The Maintenance Technician supports operations at a feed mill in Medford, Minnesota, a critical facility that produces feed for turkey farms across Southeast Minnesota. The site has recently undergone significant investment, including a major expansion, new office space, and upgraded truck wash and biosecurity systems, creating a modern and well‑maintained industrial environment.
This role is based in an industrial maintenance setting and involves hands‑on responsibility for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment used to grind, mix, and move feed throughout the facility. The Maintenance Technician performs a combination of mechanical maintenance, basic electrical troubleshooting, and welding, while also supporting preventative maintenance initiatives across the plant. The role regularly involves operating forklifts and skid steers and working within a safety‑focused, regulated production environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years mechanical/maintenance experience
• 1+ year welding experience
• General electrical knowledge
• Boiler License (or willingness to obtain within 1 year)
• Must be able to wear full-face respirator
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience operating: Forklifts, Skid steers
• Industrial, agricultural, or farm background preferred
• Industrial maintenance background
• Millwright experience
