Data Scientist

We are seeking a Data Scientist to support consumer and member analytics initiatives, with a strong focus on healthcare-related data. This role partners closely with marketing, business, and analytics stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling stories.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, brings curiosity and passion for data science, and can independently drive problem-solving from concept to solution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover insights related to consumer and member behavior.
• Build and apply statistical models to support business and marketing decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Develop clear, compelling narratives and visualizations that communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
• Work with disparate data sources and identify meaningful connections across them.
• Lead or contribute to working sessions, brainstorming, and solution design.
• Operate independently with minimal hand-holding while collaborating effectively with the team.

• 5–8 years of total professional experience, with meaningful hands-on data science work.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience working with real-world, messy data and ambiguous problem statements.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate insights and tell stories with data.
• Comfortable working in “gray areas” and figuring out solutions without predefined answers.

• Background in healthcare, health insurance, or PBMs.
• Experience with consumer or customer data analytics.
• Familiarity with CX or survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Medallia).
• Experience modeling consumer or member behavior (retail experience a plus).
• Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred; others acceptable).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science or a closely related field.
