Job Description
A client of Insight Global in the Whitehall, MI area is seeking an Engineering Leader to join their team! This individual will drive operational excellence in a high‑volume casting environment by leading improvement initiatives that increase throughput, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. This role oversees product and process engineering—including tooling and part design, scrap and variation reduction, and new product introduction to ensure delivery against cost, quality, scheduling, and customer expectations. The leader partners with operations, cross‑site engineering teams, and customers to optimize manufacturability and process performance while developing and engaging engineering talent.
Compensation:
$120,000 to $130,000 annually

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors in engineering or operations management
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with CAD/blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills (Kaizen, 5 whys, etc.)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
