Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Network / System Integration Lead to support large‑scale manufacturing launches for a top automotive client. This individual will own the installation, configuration, and validation of wired and wireless network infrastructure within plant environments. The role combines hands‑on technical execution with contractor oversight and launch coordination, ensuring all systems are properly installed, tested, and production‑ready. This is a highly technical, plant‑facing role ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced manufacturing environments and enjoys being critical to launch success.

Day‑to‑Day
• Oversee plant‑floor network infrastructure in a manufacturing environment
• Install and support wired and wireless networking solutions
• Configure switches and validate network connectivity
• Install and support PCs, scanners, tablets, and related hardware
• Lead network equipment installs to support new production launches
• Coordinate and manage contractors to ensure work is completed correctly
• Perform verification testing to confirm equipment is installed and functioning properly
• Provide regular status updates to launch and operations teams
• Install application servers and support application deployments
• Act as the technical point of contact for integration and launch activities

Compensation:
$40 hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands‑on networking experience
• Strong Cisco networking experience
• Manufacturing or plant‑floor environment background

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
• VMware environment experience
• Windows and Linux (Red Hat/SUSE) server exposure
•PMP or project coordination experience
