Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic development team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications. You will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, automation testing, and a deep understanding of software development methodologies. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of performance, security, usability, and functionality.
Responsibilities:
• Create test plans for new releases across ~5 active projects and ~5 legacy projects.
• Perform manual testing based on tasks that are ready to test, following the SDLC cycle.
• Develop and execute automated tests using tools like BrowserStack, Cypress, SmartBear, Katalon, or similar.
• Track and report bugs, establishing priorities and identifying issues such as performance, security, usability, and regression tests.
• Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software products.
• Potentially assist in the development of changelogs and quick guides for each new release.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing (based on tasks ready to test, following the SDLC cycle).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or similar.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with test systems like BrowserStack, Cypress, SmartBear, Katalon, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in testing tools and techniques (e.g., test case management, defect tracking, automation).
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential defects, and design effective test cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey test results, defects, and recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality software products that meet customer expectations.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure thorough and accurate testing.
Compensation:
$25-$30
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
