Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Information Security Policy Specialist to join one of our clients in Southfield, MI in a hybrid role 3 days a week onsite. This role supports the development, collection, and organization of essential documentation and artifacts for our clients CMMC and TISAX programs, with the goal of recertification in 2026. They will be responsible for authoring, maintaining, and aligning information security policies to regulatory requirements, control objectives, and audit expectations. This role works closely with global and regional stakeholders to interpret security requirements, support assessments and audits, and identify gaps between global standards and local regulatory needs. The specialist serves as a key liaison between centralized security teams and regional business units, ensuring security policies are clearly documented, locally applicable, and compliant across jurisdictions. Other key responsibilities include:
- Learn and understand the necessary documentation and artifact requirements for both CMMC and TISAX.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and the IT team to collect, organize, and index documentation and artifacts.
- Facilitate the creation and modernization of information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Work with cross-functional and cross-regional Authors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with varying levels of business and technical skills.
- Execute reviews to ensure efficacy, conciseness, and alignment.
$30/hr to $70/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ year’s experience within information security
- Experience with collecting artifacts and creating / documenting policies
- Knowledge of infastructure development, IT security, and controls
- Strong understanding of requirements, control objectives, and taking those to author policies
- Experience performing IT risk assessments
- Bachelors Degree in Technical discipline
