Job Description

The ideal candidate will be supporting the successful execution of data center construction projects. They will work closely with Design, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Security, Network Deployment, Controls, and external partners to deliver high-quality facilities safely, on schedule, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include:

• Coordinating communication and information flow between general contractors, trade partners, design consultants, vendors, project stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Managing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change orders, field reports, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.
• Developing and maintaining project tracking tools and dashboards to monitor design changes, open issues, schedule milestones, action items, and project risks.
• Supporting review and tracking of construction schedules, procurement activities, and critical path milestones.
• Reviewing Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation for completeness, risk identification, and operational impacts.
• Coordinating vendor onboarding, site access requirements, safety orientations, and security credentialing processes.
• Maintaining project management systems and document control platforms to ensure current and accurate project records.
• Monitoring owner-furnished equipment deliveries and coordinating logistics to support construction activities.
• Managing centralized repositories for construction documentation, commissioning records, and turnover packages.
• Supporting quality assurance and quality control programs through implementation of project checklists, inspections, deficiency tracking, and substantial completion processes.
• Assisting Construction Managers with project reporting, cost tracking, change management, and stakeholder communications.
• Supporting project closeout activities, turnover documentation, and transition to Operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting construction, engineering, data center operations, or critical facility projects.
• Experience with vendor and contractor management.
• Experience managing project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedules.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting data center design and construction projects.
• Experience with commissioning, turnover, and operational readiness processes.
• Experience using project management and document control platforms (Procore, Primavera P6, Unifier, BIM 360, or similar).
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and critical infrastructure systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
