Job Description
The Controls Project Manager will support data center construction projects, focusing on electrical building management systems (EBMS/BMS) and control system integration. This role will oversee control wiring, system coordination, and integration of building automation, security, and life safety systems across mission-critical facilities. Responsibilities include:
• Manage deployment and coordination of BMS/EBMS systems across data center construction projects
• Oversee control system installation and wiring, ensuring alignment with design specifications
• Coordinate vendors and subcontractors supporting controls, BMS, and low-voltage systems
• Ensure integration of building automation, security, and life safety systems (access control, fire alarm, etc.)
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables related to controls scope
• Identify and mitigate risks related to controls installation, commissioning, and system integration
• Collaborate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure system functionality and readiness
• Support testing, commissioning, and turnover of control systems

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in controls, BMS/BAS, or building automation project delivery
• Experience managing or supporting construction or capital projects
• Strong understanding of control wiring, low-voltage systems, and system integration
• Experience with security, access control, and fire alarm system integration
• Experience working with vendors and contractors in a construction environment
• Experience with EBMS/BMS systems in large-scale facilities
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Exposure to commissioning and turnover processes
