Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Mid–Senior level .NET Developer to join one of our clients supporting a recently modernized, custom-built transportation management system. This role is heavily backend focused, with about 80% of the work centered on building new features, enhancing existing functionality, and improving overall system performance using C# / .NET. You will work closely with SQL Server and Entity Framework to design, optimize, and troubleshoot data and backend processes, while also developing and maintaining APIs (GraphQL and REST) that support a React-based frontend application used by customers. The team has strong frontend support, so this person will primarily own backend development efforts while collaborating cross-functionally in a SAFe Agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Strong backend development with C# / .NET
• Hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL Server queries
• Strong experience working with Entity Framework
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug backend systems, APIs, and database issues
• Experience building or working with APIs (REST or GraphQL)
Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and be self-motivated
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working with GraphQL in production environments
• Exposure to React or full stack development
