Job Description
As a QA Automation Engineer for Insight Global, your day will start by reviewing updates and preparing for mid‑afternoon calls focused on sprint planning and story refinement specific to UI validation for Oracle EBS, and potentially some other ERP test cases (NetSuite and Salesforce). During these calls, the engineer picks up new stories, collaborates with the team to clarify requirements, and helps define acceptance criteria from a testing and automation perspective. They analyze user stories in detail to understand business flows and identify which scenarios are best suited for automation. Based on this analysis, they create or update automation stories and tasks aligned with the sprint goals. The engineer then develops or enhances automated test scripts to cover the identified scenarios and integrates them into the existing automation framework. Once automation is complete, the tests are executed and results are shared with the team for validation. Any defects, gaps, or improvement opportunities identified during testing are documented and discussed with developers. The engineer then incorporates feedback and enhancements, ensuring the automated tests remain stable, reusable, and aligned with evolving application changes.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years automation testing experience with UFT & VBscript for regression testing on web and desktop based apps for UI validation
○ Experience writing net new scripts, not just maintaining existing ones
• Experience with testing in data driven frameworks
Experience with Java or Python scripting
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Pandas libraries
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with Playwright
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Salesforce, Oracle EBS, and NetSuite
Experience with integration testing
