Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Engineering Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment used throughout fabrication and final process areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving complex equipment issues, working independently, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform setup, calibration, preventative maintenance, and routine servicing of manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on semiconductor production equipment.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment using schematics, blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
- Rebuild and repair manufacturing equipment as needed to support production requirements.
- Execute equipment modifications and upgrades as directed by the engineering team.
- Follow established operational procedures, maintenance processes, and safety protocols.
- Analyze equipment performance and assist in resolving complex technical issues.
- Work independently on assignments requiring sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in emergency response activities as a contributing member of the team, if desired.

Required Skills & Experience
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical discipline; or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using common hand tools and electronic test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment support.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment components, including pumps and related hardware.
- Ability to pass a respiratory protection medical surveillance examination.
