Job Description
A large robotics client is looking for a CAD Technician to join their team in Massachusetts. This person will be joining the Deployment Engineering Support team, which focuses on the use of robots to automate processes in their warehouses nationwide. This individual will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of buildings, work areas, and material handling equipment based on current examples as well as design support for future initiatives. Drawings will require a high level of detail in both plan views as well as corresponding elevation views in certain cases. A successful candidate will be self-starter and will be able to work with very little direction and create drawing sets that will satisfy the need to standardize work spaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting new technology development for Robotics
* Working on 2D and 3D Robotic Layout Designs
* Working on internal software similar to AutoCAD
* Interacting with solution design engineers -- will work along side them
28-30/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
* 1-2+ years of CAD experience in Mechanical or industrial engineering industry
* Experience designing and drafting with AutoCAD
* Exposure to 3D CAD design
* General engineering knowledge, manufacturing environment setup
* Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience)
