Job Description
An employer in the life sciences industry is lookin for a Business Analyst to join the team and sit remote. This person will join the BioProduction Marketing and Molecule Intelligence team, focusing primarily on PowerBI. This role is critical in supporting global marketing analytics by developing, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, hands-on experience with Power BI end-to-end, and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights. They will work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to provide data-driven recommendations that optimize marketing performance and ROI. About 70% of the Business Analyst's time will be spent maintaining and enhancing existing dashboards and reports, ensuring they run smoothly, debugging issues, and implementing improvements. The remaining 30% will focus on analysis and creating new dashboards, including generating insights and recommendations based on data. This person willl take ownership of existing Power BI assets, perform ETL transformations, create new measures and KPIs, and ensure data integrity throughout the process. This position requires strong collaboration with multiple business stakeholders and the ability to present findings effectively.

Required Skills & Experience
Expert-level Power BI experience (3+ years), including end-to-end development
Strong DAX skills for creating and debugging complex measures within Power BI.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and integration into Power BI.
Ability to maintain and enhance existing dashboards (debugging, performance optimization).
Experience in dashboarding and data visualization best practices.
Analytical mindset to interpret data and provide actionable insights for marketing and commercial teams.
Familiarity with AWS EC2, Glue, S3, Athena preferred, or Databricks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
