Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Governance Lead for one of our customers in the Life Sciences industry. The Senior Data Governance Lead is a senior-level data management expert responsible for defining and executing data governance strategy across an enterprise data marketplace. This role shapes how data products are owned, governed, published, and consumed, balancing IT‑managed data with business‑led self‑service analytics. The ideal candidate brings deep governance expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate strategy into practical, scalable deliverables that enable trusted data use across the organization.
This role is hands-on and strategic, focused on creating governance frameworks, operating models, data quality standards, and training materials that guide execution. You will define what “good” data looks like by establishing data quality rules and success measures, while providing direction to global execution teams. Partnering closely with business stakeholders across supply chain, commercial, and R&D, you will support adoption by enabling users to effectively engage with the data marketplace and catalog, and by defining clear engagement models between IT and business data teams. Comfort working in an AWS-based data environment and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams is essential to ensure governance accelerates, rather than restricts, data value.
We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
