Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Quality Technician I. They will perform inspections of machined components, assemblies and castings to support receiving inspection, validations, and process improvement activities. Will perform open set-up inspections utilizing a variety of inspection equipment and visual standards. Support Raynham Operator Certification initiatives throughout the facility. Mechanical inspection will be performed. The Quality Technician will utilize GD&T and blueprint reading skills daily.

Required Skills & Experience

A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
Manufacturing background is required.
0-2 years of inspection experience in a precision machining and/or casting environment
Excellent written, oral communication, organization and computer skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Medical Device inspection experience.
Blueprint interpretation skills and a working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) applications
Working knowledge of various applications of shop mathematics
ASQ Certification
Optical Comparators experience
CMM operating experience is a plus
