Job Description

On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining both C# backend and Sass-based frontend code supporting two externally facing websites and an internal intranet built on the Optimizely CMS/DXP platform. They will work closely with marketing and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions by building scalable web components, creating reusable templates, and enabling content functionality within the CMS. The engineer will regularly implement enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver new features through JIRA within an Agile Scrum/Kanban hybrid environment. They will also manage and support personalization, A/B testing, and content targeting initiatives using Optimizely tools, while integrating systems such as Salesforce Data Cloud and CRM to enable real-time data flow and personalization. Throughout the development lifecycle, they will ensure applications are optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO using tools like SiteImprove, while maintaining strict data privacy and security standards. Additionally, they will monitor user behavior and testing outcomes using Adobe Analytics to inform improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance to meet regulatory standards, and participate in code reviews, QA handoffs, and documentation of technical solutions and architecture. The compensation is based on years of experience and ranges from $18-20/hr

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Optimizely CMS (Content Management System) and DXP (Data Platform)
• Experience integrating Optimizely CMS/DXP with Optimizely ODP, Experimentation and Personalization.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#
• Familiarity with financial services regulations (e.g., GDPR, FINRA, SEC) and secure development practices like OWASP and defensive programming.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently to determine a solution/technical approach given specific technical and business requirements.
• Self-driven and excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Salesforce CRM, including APIs, data models, and integration best practices.
• Optimizely certifications (e.g., Optimizely Certified Developer).
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I).
• Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with headless CMS architecture and composable DXP strategies.
