Insight Global is hiring a Global IT Engineering Manager for our large consulting client. This role is hybrid, onsite in the clients office site in India (either Hyderabad or Gurugram)
Day to Day
-Serve as a hands-on technical leader within an application frameworks squad, guiding architecture and engineering standards.
-Design, build, and optimize scalable, cloud‑native web applications using modern MEAN/MERN stacks.
-Lead end‑to‑end solution delivery, from technical design through production readiness.
-Build and maintain resilient APIs, microservices, and backend systems with a focus on performance, observability, and cost efficiency.
-Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, designers, and QA to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
-Mentor and coach frontend, backend, and full‑stack engineers on architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
-Drive adoption of modern development patterns including microservices, serverless, and AI‑assisted development.
-Own CI/CD pipelines, production readiness, incident response, and root‑cause analysis.
-Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with enterprise security standards.
Compensation: Max 36L - 30L base. + up to 16% variable

Required Skills & Experience
-10–14+ years of relevant full‑stack development experience.
-Expert-level experience with React and/or Angular, Node.js, Express.js or NestJS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong background designing distributed systems and scalable web architectures.
-Experience building APIs and microservices with a focus on performance and reliability.
-Hands-on knowledge of caching and data stores such as Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB.
-Familiarity with AI‑driven development concepts such as GenAI, LangChain, vector databases, MCP server patterns, or LLM‑based automation.
-Proven experience with CI/CD, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.
-Strong testing discipline using tools such as Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Cypress, or similar.
-Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
-Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (JWT, OAuth, identity providers).
-Strong cross‑functional communication skills and ability to lead technical initiatives.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience using Python for backend services or AI components.
-Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets, or real‑time communication frameworks.
-Experience integrating CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Storyblok).
-Performance engineering experience, including profiling and load testing.
-Exposure to Kubernetes or ECS for container orchestration.
-Background in consulting or fast‑paced, global engineering environments.
-Interest in shaping AI‑powered application frameworks and shared platforms.
