Job Description

One of Insight Global’s leading insurance clients is seeking a Duck Creek Software Engineer to join their team in Boston, MA. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Duck Creek Policy Administration solutions that support critical business and underwriting operations. The role will focus on delivering scalable platform capabilities, building integrations, supporting workflow automation, and contributing to long-term platform modernization efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of insurance technology, software development, and enterprise platform architecture.

Compensation: 38-55/hr and $80,000-$115,000/year after conversion.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of hands-on Duck Creek development experience, preferably within Policy Administration environments
Experience configuring and supporting Duck Creek rating, rules, forms, workflows, and integrations
Experience building APIs, integrations, and workflow automation solutions
Strong understanding of software development principles and solution design
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams
Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with C#/.NET development
Insurance, underwriting, or policy administration experience
Experience with distributed systems and modern application architecture
Experience contributing to technical design and architecture discussions
Experience supporting scalable enterprise platforms
