Secret Software Developer

Insight Global is looking for a cleared Software Developer to sit hybrid in Lexington Park, MD supporting a large government customer. This individual will be supporting software development, integration, customer training and demonstrations. They will help to define requirements and design elements for transport, compute and storage, core, and security services. Additionally, will help with research and propose solutions for network, application, and data security.

Salary: $150-180K

Secret clearance (can cage higher)
. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
At least 8 years of experience in software development, including design, development, and deployment of complex software systems
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar
Strong experience with web development frameworks and technologies ( Angular, React, Node.js)
In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes (Agile, Scrum)
Familiarity with NSAs NCDSMO Raise the Bar (RTB) guidelines
Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions and Multi Level Security
Experience with database design and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)

Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Experience with cloud platforms (, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools ( Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, CICD pipelines)
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
