Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a top concrete construction client. This candidate will play a key role in both preconstruction and project execution by developing accurate estimates, creating customer proposals, coordinating project setup activities, and supporting project financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong self-perform concrete construction experience and a background in commercial and industrial projects. This individual will work closely with project leadership and operations teams to drive successful project outcomes from bid through closeout.
Day-to-Day:
• Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates and quantity takeoffs
• Identify and quantify all required concrete scope items
• Develop project bid strategies alongside operational teams
• Generate customer proposals and preliminary schedules
• Complete project setup including contract reviews, cost codes, and budgets
• Maintain submittal tracking logs
• Collaborate with Project Leads to develop project execution plans
• Compile and review daily job cost reports
• Create and process change orders
• Communicate project updates and opportunities with stakeholders
Execute detailed project closeout documentation

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience with a large-scale self-perform GC or concrete contractor
• Self-perform concrete construction experience
• Experience with commercial and industrial concrete projects
• Knowledge of construction principles and practices
• Experience managing projects valued at $1M+
• Previous experience performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
