The candidate will design and apply graphics using .NET technologies to support the development, modification, and maintenance of custom SharePoint server portals. Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily portal maintenance. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software. Familiar with standard practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Coordinates and collaborates with project stakeholders on a daily basis. Possesses a certain degree of creativity and latitude.
A client is seeking a Senior SharePoint/Software Developer for a Project Management portal in support at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position is a hybrid of on-site and remote.
What You'll Get to Do:
* Develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
* Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Server (Versions 2013/2016).
* Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
* Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
* Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes.
* Participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude required.
Required Skills & Experience
* Active Secret security clearance with ability and willingness to upgrade to TS/SCI
* Experience deploying SharePoint infrastructures and services SharePoint 2016 and 2019
* Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation
* Experience working with SharePoint on Intelink government site
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience supporting Army, Navy or DoD Space
* Experience reporting to an O5/O6, GS15, Division Chief
