We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join a client's team onsite in Geismar, LA. Responsibilities include supporting plant operations, monitoring performance, coordinating with operations and maintenance, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. The role involves designing new plants and upgrades, managing small to medium-sized capital projects, evaluating new technologies, and being a technical expert in process chemistry and production processes at the facility. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and 2-10 years of relevant experience. Flexibility for off-hour refinery upsets is required. Salary range: $100k-$200k, based on level of experience.

- bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
- 2-10 years of relevant field experience in a process-related industry
- knowledge of Aspen Hysys
- experience with small to mid-size capital projects
- experience in biomass-based diesel, edible oils, petroleum, petrochemical, ethanol, or other renewable fuels industries
- knowledge of PSV sizing
- experience with hydraulic modeling software
