Job Description
An employer is seeking a Piping Foreman for a leading construction client in the industrial and manufacturing space. This individual will lead field crews on complex installations ranging from $3M–$8M, ensuring execution aligns with engineering drawings, safety standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of process piping systems, capable of managing daily operations, coordinating with project leadership, and driving productivity in fast-paced, travel-based environments. Day-to-Day:
- Lead and supervise a crews of up to 10 pipefitters, welders, and laborers
- Execute installation of process piping systems (stainless, copper, steel)
- Conduct daily huddles, assign work, and track daily productivity reports
- Read and interpret P&IDs and project drawings to guide field execution
- Coordinate with Project Managers on material takeoffs, purchasing, and timelines
- Monitor project progress and provide updates/reporting
- Ensure quality, safety, and OSHA compliance across all work
- Travel to active job sites and help ramp crews as needed
- Oversee tubing, utility piping, hygienic systems, and orbital welding work

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of industrial piping experience
- 5+ years as a Foreman leading crews of up to ~10
- Experience in food & beverage and/or pharmaceutical environments
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams)
- Hands-on experience with installation of stainless steel, copper, and carbon piping systems
- OSHA 30
- Comfortable with travel (2–3 weeks on, weekends off typical rotation)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with hygienic/360L systems and orbital welding processes
- Welding background (especially orbital or sanitary welding)
- Experience using or navigating Revit models
- Experience working on $3M–$8M+ industrial projects
- Background with companies like Sexton, United Group Services, TQ Constructors, etc.
- Experience in both interior and exterior piping installs
- Leadership within ESOP environments or long-term culture companies
