Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Functional Digital & IT Senior Analyst for a leading manufacturing client. This role is centered on driving manufacturing systems transformation initiatives, with a strong emphasis on MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and SCADA integration, implementation, and optimization.
This individual will serve as a key liaison between business and IT, partnering with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT to modernize manufacturing technology ecosystems. The primary focus will be on integrating shop-floor systems with enterprise platforms (ERP, data platforms, analytics tools) to enable real-time visibility, operational efficiency, and digital manufacturing capabilities.
The role requires strong ownership of system implementations, integrations, and process improvements within manufacturing environments. Exposure to Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes is considered beneficial but is not a core requirement for success in this role.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
6+ years of experience in IT, Digital, or Manufacturing Systems roles within a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with MES and/or SCADA systems, including implementation, integration, or support
Experience integrating manufacturing systems with ERP platforms (SAP preferred) or other enterprise applications
Proven experience leading or supporting cross-functional IT or digital transformation projects
Strong understanding of shop-floor processes, production workflows, and manufacturing operations
Ability to bridge business and technical teams, translating operational needs into system solutions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with MES-to-ERP integrations (e.g., production orders, inventory, quality data flows)
Exposure to SCADA/data historian systems (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk, PI System)
Familiarity with industrial data integration, IIoT, or smart manufacturing initiatives
Experience supporting or implementing ERP or SaaS-based solutions
Exposure to Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes in a manufacturing setting
PMP certification or formal project management experience
