Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact RFID team supporting large-scale inventory intelligence systems. This role will focus on designing and operating scalable, secure, and highly reliable cloud platforms that enable real-time inventory visibility across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps strategy, drive CI/CD maturity, and champion automation and observability best practices. They will play a critical role in improving system reliability, supporting migrations, enhancing developer productivity, and ensuring operational excellence, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or related field
Experience with containerization and orchestration (preferably Kubernetes)
Experience with Datadog ( preferred) or Splunk
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform
Proven expertise with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI or Jenkins, or equivalent)
Understand concepts of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
Strong scripting/programming skills (Bash or PowerShell or python)
Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and system design
Ability to lead production incident management, RCA, and reliability improvements
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with GitOps practices and tools (e.g., ArgoCD)
Experience with event streaming platforms (Kafka)
Familiarity with API gateways (Kong) and CDNs (Akamai)
Exposure to retail, eCommerce, or inventory management platforms
Experience driving platform engineering initiatives
Interest or experience in AI-driven automation and observability improvements
Demonstrated passion for emerging technologies (AI/ML)
