Business Data & Process Analyst (Energy Operations)

Insight Global is seeking a versatile Data & Process Analyst to support a growing energy-focused business unit within a leading utility organization. This role is ideal for a high-potential, early-career professional who can blend light technical data capabilities with operational understanding to help build structure in a fast-evolving environment.
You will play a key role in supporting data migration, process documentation, and reporting efforts, contributing to a team that is actively scaling and modernizing its operations.
This will be M-F, 5 days/40/hours a week full time role. Hybrid flexibility 2 days a week for remote work.

This individual will operate as a hybrid resource supporting both technical and operational initiatives. Day-to-day, you will assist with migrating and organizing data into SQL environments, help build and maintain basic Power BI dashboards, and document workflows and processes to support compliance and operational efficiency. You may also support broader document organization efforts as the team works to centralize information and establish standardized processes.

- 2-5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Exposure to SQL environments and comfort working with data migration or data organization
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Strong ability to document processes, workflows, and operational procedures
- General understanding of industrial or operational environments (energy, utilities, chemical, manufacturing, etc.)
- Ability to operate as a flexible generalist across data, process, and documentation needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a lean, collaborative team environment

- Experience supporting Process Safety Management (PSM) or regulated environments
- Exposure to construction-to-operations handoffs
- Background in document control, data governance, or process improvement initiatives
- Previous RNG exposure/direct experience
