Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Semi-Van Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Antioch. This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and inspecting semi-trailers (primarily van trailers) to ensure safe and efficient operation. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with trailer maintenance, welding capability, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi-van trailers and other utility trailers
• Diagnose mechanical, structural, and operational issues on trailers
• Conduct trailer inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Execute welding repairs as needed (no certification required)
• Complete manual write-ups of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work Environment / Additional Details
• No shop software required – all repair documentation is handwritten
• Team-oriented shop with multiple openings
• Flexibility in scheduling to support work-life balance

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience in semi-trailer or trailer maintenance (semi-van trailers preferred)
• Hands-on welding experience (certification not required)
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair trailer systems independently
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional weekends
• Strong work ethic and reliability
