Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Designer to join a leading modular housing company supporting a high volume of upcoming projects across North America. This is a full-time role based in Calgary, working onsite 5 days per week.

This individual will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for modular buildings, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and construction teams to ensure designs are accurate, code-compliant, and buildable.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years of experience in Electrical Design, specifically for apartments, commercial buildings, and schools
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Solid technical knowledge of:
○ Power distribution systems
○ Lighting layouts
○ Fire alarm systems
○ Low voltage/data systems
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles, calculations, and code compliance
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Modular experience is an asset
P.Eng or EIT designation
