Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Mission Coordinator to support a large naval training contract, with a strong emphasis on Undersea Warfare (USW) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW).
This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing complex maritime training exercises, ensuring alignment across systems, personnel, and mission objectives. The ideal candidate brings prior Navy operational experience and the ability to work directly with military stakeholders to drive mission readiness and training effectiveness.
-Plan, coordinate, and execute Undersea Warfare and Anti-Submarine Warfare training exercises
-Collaborate closely with military customers to identify training needs and develop tailored exercise plans
-Coordinate all aspects of mission execution, including:
-Asset and personnel allocation
-Technology and system utilization (e.g., sonar, underwater tracking systems)
-Range scheduling and airspace coordination
-Lead pre-mission planning efforts, including defining objectives, resources, and execution timelines
-Oversee mission execution, including coordination when targets are deployed in-water
-Adjust plans in real-time based on mission changes or stakeholder input
-Observe operations and collect, track, and analyze training data
-Deliver mission briefings, debriefings, and post-exercise reports with actionable insights
-Maintain databases for scheduling, utilization, and reporting of training events
-Develop and distribute training materials (written, visual, and multimedia)
-Provide instruction and demonstrations on training systems and equipment
-Support coordination with government and military personnel across multiple commands and units
Pay is based on qualification around $48.08 - $57.69

Required Skills & Experience
One of the following:
-Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years of experience
Master’s degree + 3+ years of experience
OR 9+ years of relevant experience (in lieu of degree)
-Strong background in Navy Undersea Warfare / Anti-Submarine Warfare operations
Experience with:
-Training exercise planning and execution
-Resource coordination and scheduling
-Data collection, observation, and analysis
-Familiarity with sonar systems, underwater technologies, or in-water tracking systems
-Prior operational experience supporting Navy or maritime training environments
-Active Secret Security Clearance (required)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Senior enlisted or equivalent experience (E7–E8 level strongly preferred, e.g., 05–06 staff experience)
-Demonstrated experience coordinating large-scale operations or multi-stakeholder training events
-Background in staff-level coordination roles supporting Navy training missions
-Experience leading or mentoring personnel or operational teams
-Knowledge of Navy procedures, directives, and training protocols
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field
