Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking to add a Quality Control Specialist to their team to help support their MRO for engine manufacturing in Miami, FL in creating route cost investigations and quality control investigations company wide.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting audits and inspections: Perform internal audits of maintenance, operational, and safety systems to ensure compliance with regulations, international standards and company policies, such as the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and other international regulations.
• Investigating issues: Investigate incidents and discrepancies, analyze trends, and take part in root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences and create reports
• Ensuring regulatory compliance: Verify that all activities and documentation adhere to applicable aviation regulations safety standards, and other requirements.
• Monitor adherence to QA process, identify gaps and work multiple teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Implementing corrective actions: Follow up on, monitor, and ensure the timely completion of corrective and preventive actions identified during audits occurrence and SMS reporting.
• Continuous improvement: Support the development and implementation of the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses
• Quality Assurance support/liaison with the various areas such as operations, repair center, engineering etc.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working within an MRO or engine manufacturing shop.
- Experience with investigation tools and methodologies such as 6S, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and 5 Whys for problem-solving and process improvement
- Experience writing SPM (standard practice manuals)
- Fluent in Spanish.
