Job Description
A client in the Huntsville, AL area is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Mechanical Engineering team to deliver on faced paced projects. You will be spending approximately 50% of your time hands on with the product, and the other 50% will be focused on project management including task management, burndown tracking, and scope management.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience leading projects from design phase to production within mechanical engineering
Experience with structural stress analysis and load management
Experience mentoring or leading a mechanical engineering team
SolidWorks Electrical Design experience (will consider similar tools such as CREO)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Any integration experience
Budget management or earned value management (EVM) experience
Experience interfacing with the government customer on RFPs, RFIs, etc.
