Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Planner to support planning and development of R&D lab and workplace environments. This role focuses on early-stage space planning, feasibility studies, and test fits, while managing projects from concept through detailed planning and handoff.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong program management, technical planning expertise, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead front-end space planning and program workflows for lab and workplace projects
- Manage multiple concurrent planning efforts from concept through test fits and final planning packages
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop optimized space plans aligned to operational, code, and design requirements
- Translate stakeholder needs into Revit models, layouts, and presentation materials
- Deliver high-quality 2D/3D test fits and planning documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, facilities, operations, and lab users
- Partner with MEP and structural teams to align on technical requirements
- Support downstream teams by refining models and producing planning packages for design/construction
- Drive timelines and ensure alignment with aggressive project schedules

Required Skills & Experience

- 7–10 years of experience in space planning, architecture, or related fields
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Strong experience working on lab, workplace, or highly technical environments (e.g., data centers, healthcare, airports)
- Proven expertise in Revit (modeling, test fits, planning deliverables)
- Experience producing both 2D and 3D renderings
- Strong understanding of technical architecture and coordination with MEP/structural teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong visualization and presentation skills (graphics, data visualization)
- Experience with planning packages and documentation workflows (RFIs, IFC, IFP)
