Job Description

Insight Global is partnering with a leading power supply company to hire for a Remote Regional Sales Manager in the north eastern territories. Our client specializes in power solutions covering industries in the consumer, enterprise, and industrial space.  A new roadmap will focus on higher power open frames and server power solutions with targeted clients in data centers, telecommunications, industrial automation, robotics and more.

This position will work remotely, but will require about 50% travel to client sites. Professionals can sit anywhere in the Northern California or in the Pacific North West (CA, OR, WA)

As we continue to build our roadmap and expand our presence in a targeted market, we’re looking for a seasoned Regional Sales Manager who brings deep industry experience, a proven sales track record, and established networks in the high-power power supply space to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development: Actively prospect for new business opportunities in the high-power power supply, open frame, and server power sectors, including reaching out to clients with whom we don’t yet have a relationship.
2. Sales Leadership & Strategy: Drive sales efforts across the West Coast, targeting high-value customers in the power supply industry, including those in need of open frame and server power solutions. Formulate and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
3. Client Relationship Building: Utilize your existing network and relationships with decision-makers at OEMs, VARs, and system integrators to expand our customer base and maintain long-term partnerships.
4. Industry Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of high-power power supplies, open frames, and server power solutions to effectively consult with customers and present tailored solutions.
5. Market Intelligence & Positioning: Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform sales strategies. Use this insight to help streamline engineering efforts to adapt our offerings and remain competitive in the marketplace.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams - engineering, product management, and marketing - to ensure customer needs are met with the right product solutions.
7. Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market conditions, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.

Required Skills & Experience

-8+ years of experience in B2B sales
-2+ years of sales leadership experience
-Prior experience in the power supply, open frames, or server power industries

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Book of business / existing network in the power supply industry is a huge plus
